Amrn had enough time with boots on the ground selling to realize the product "will not sell itself." As an investor and health freak, I brought too much of my own bias to my investment thesis. But it's Management's job to determine what's real and what's not. I agree with my brother now with the passage of time, when he once said "JZ screwed up. He should have sold the company when he was offered was it $20.00?" It's been over 4 years nearly 5, and the company continues to receive pushback, worse, baseless doubts over icosapent Ethyl's effectiveness. If anyone thinks this is normal after so many medical societies have added Icosapent Ethyl to it's guidelines should think twice. The inflection point for the company came when JZ didn't sell. It's been a train wreck ever since. Yeah, so I agree. It's more than management not having a vision. Management handled the R&D. It failed before it started once deciding to GIA.
