ASM's are not usually news worthy events. Procedural at best.

Some want to "build up" ASM as Journal announcement events(like that would not leak) LOL, or announce an MHRA approval(like that wouldn't leak, LOL), but that is the same crew that builds up ASCO/ESMO/SNO(like that wouldn't leak, LOL) . Then, it does not happen and wham, "short the news."
