That's the drug I'd want for my mother!

That's a way of saying: "someone I care about, and want them to have the best possible help modern medicine can provide" !!! I was not specifying a patient age group or demographic.

The reluctance of insurers to provide the best medicine as soon as possible will be overcome as patients become aware and physicians assume their proper role as advocated for their patients.

Furthermore, if rapid response prevents future complications (which are also costly), common sense and decency will likely prevail (although decency is a distant second in that equation).

ALSO, given that there is a preponderance of "marginalized" patients suffering from L.N., the political pressure (in this case correctly) will be to remedy the situation and force any racist insurance companies to shape up and be more INCLUSIVE. You wouldn't want to be called a racist, would you?

The company can also take actions with respect to price and measures to make Lupkynis available to patients who have difficulty in getting access. A good example of this is Entyvio, that went from almost impossible to get, to being easily available.

They say "time is brain" in a different context, we might say "rapid response is kidney".
