I have an energy contract for 1 year that expires in december. If I had to sign a new contract now, my expenses would go up by 100%, from €180/month to €360/month. That is for a 1-person household.

This is not sustainable if prices remain so high. The Dutch government will act on that vast gas field in Groningen.

How are things in the US?
