June 6 – someone purchased 1 million dollars of Merck Options for the Nov 90s
I noticed this because it was mentioned on Jon Najarian’s Unusual Activity (CNBC)
It stood out for me because this was just after all the ASCO presentations
Look It Up
3,020 Options at 5.60
302,000 shares at 5.60 = $1,691,200

I don’t think it was retail LOL
It just stood out and I have been watching Merck just like everyone else here.
No real big movement in the stock price since then even with their latest announcements.

Just pointing this out – no predictions from me.
There is now 19,614 open interest with the Nov 90s

Another 2.84 mill were purchased on Aug 10th
Maybe related to their news lately – maybe not ??

I saved the best for last
When those Nov options were purchased Oct Options were not available for purchase.
Think about that for a while !!!!!
