Seems like the Grub rules are broken regularly:
There was a big discussion of the grubbing rules a while back but I can't remember what board it was on.

According to the rules of grubbing, you can't post in sequence leading up to the grub, and you can't post to yourself.

Another rule is that you can't post only to get the grub.

An honest/legal grub has to be an on topic reply to a poster other than yourself.

Someone that steals one breaks one of those rules.

I never knew about the poker hand reference. Would have gone over my head anyway since I don't play. I just thought it was a cool number like 141414, a palindrome, or a milestone like 300000. So many rules. So little time.

FWIW, I look for grubs on my odometer. Hit 161161 recently. I was thrilled. <g>
