According to MSNBC, the DOJ sent a copy of the request to unseal to Trump's people, in case they have any objection.
So he'll have time to object, if he doesn't want people to see what's in in it. But he won't have much time. I have the feeling that in the end, that won't work for him.
In addition, we already have Judicial Watch's motion to unseal the documents, filed yesterday. Today, a judge ruled on it, saying the materials must be unsealed by Monday at 5 p.m.
The response may be filed ex parte and under seal as necessary to avoid disclosing matters already under seal. In that event, the Government shall file a redacted Response in the public record.
So one way or another, we'll be finding out a lot. The Trump people may try to get involved in the redactions, but the docs still have to be ready to go by late Monday.
