So digg this. Last week I was reading some article about the Dark Ages Europe. It appeared to be a well-written, almost scholarly, piece. And then I ran across the mention of CORN as a food in Europe during the Dark Ages. I was under the bleef that corn (and potatoes and tomatoes) came to Europe from the Americas (the New Whirled) after 1492 (well after the Dark Ages), so I did some DuckDuckGoing to find that I am correct and this evidently learned author was dispensing nonsense.
