Seems, fail in murines and no human trials.

Why do some mice models accurately predict success in humans but others do not with regard to Alzheimer's trials?

Well, I have no interest in scrutinizing murine tests of non-Anavex Alzheimer's drugs. Haven't checked out any of them; what few there might be. Were there preclinical murine tests of Aduhelm (which produced in humans brain swelling), or with Aricept, which in humans merely slows for a period the progression of Alzheimer's, ultimately followed by mortality?

In fact, have there been any new Alzheimer's drugs elevated to human clinical trials that have first failed in murine tests? Failing to be safe and effective in transgenic rats would seem, to me, to preclude any subsequent human trials, even Phase 1.

In the end the only thing that actually counts is safety and efficacy demonstrated in real humans in a proper blinded clinical study.
