You may have an incredible sense of smell!

This weekend we ate takeout shrimp and scallop platters from the landmark Keyport Fishery.

This was very nostalgic in that we first got the takeout (takeout only establishment) about forty years ago and the place, the nice deep fried oceanic smell and satisfying taste of the seafood, fries, cole slaw, and even the tartar sauce, are exactly the same, as is the ordering and fulfillment and sturdy large paper bag packaging. Some things just are perfect and timeless without the need to introduce new technology!

We went there a little earlier than the usual mealtime crowd, which forms a long line for order taking, and we entered and left with our freshly cooked order in approximately 7 minutes, a record time!

I apologize for taking so much attention away from the main topic, but if you’ve experienced the unique and timeless Keyport Fishery experience I know you’d understand!
