Thing is I'm concerned if I was a Yankees fan, with some of the thing he has said that he is generally annoyed with the yankees management/ownership (Maybe reading too much into it). So I think there is a decent chance he leaves. Because I don't know if the yanks will offer him a 9-10 year deal. And I think a team is going to do that at big money. I think leaking the info, of what he rejected was a huge mistake by the yankees. I also think they treat players they are acquiring better than players that have done it for them. I also wonder if they are worried about Judge aging, and they are locked into stanton on the DH. so they don't want to go too long-term. All I know is someone is gonna offer judge a ton of Money well over 300 Million, and possible closer to 350. Hence the yankee better be ready to add 100 Million at least to the offer (Probably more), or I think they will lose him. It really is that simple.
Sometimes I think the organazation like there fans think the Yankee uniform is special somehow, some way it is not. It is sheer arrogance to think so, it is whoever pays these guys the most money it is really that simple in my opinion.
