Sideem Ethanol is a scam ......

It takes an energy factor of .72 to extract it from corn.(per gallon).
While oil takes a .32 factor to extract.(per gallon)
Ethanol has half the BTU's per gallon compared to Gas and almost a third of the BTU's compared to Diesel.
You get worse gas milage in a car or truck because of the BTU (less energy)content per gallon therefor burning more of it to go the same distance or do the same "work"
The fossil fuel used to make and spread fertilizer, fuel used for Spreading and planting shipping, havesting and then processing the "Bio" into Ethanol
is 3 times that of oil or natural gas processes and production pollution.
