Anyone else had “direct” experience with Covid? Did you lose taste and smell? For how long?

Just for fun I’ve been trying out strong flavors.

Thai long thin peppers- no taste but still feeling the heat.

Bourbon- no taste. Well, almost no taste. Very faint taste and smell. Still felt the heat in the throat afterward.

Home grown cherry tomatoes. Strange sensation. I wouldn’t call it a flavor.

I plan to continue the fermented aspect of these experiments. You know. In the name of science and the betterment of society.
