"Eddie Vakser and electric airplanes" I'll give that a huge, long drawn out yawn and a good laugh.

That said, a friend has been involved with electric flight for a number of years. He also had a hand in the original X-Prize. First name Erik..last name Lindbergh! Ring a bell?! His grandad was kind of a big thing....

At age 18 or so, he worked at Crystal Mountain for a year. I skied there 0-60 days/season for 25 years and did a large portion of my pro ski photography there. I shot pics of him dropping 25' into Teddy Bear Chute in 1982-ish. So named as the patrol had strung a little teddy bear on the bomb wire strung across the top of the chute. (Inspired by the same which was done in the early 1970's, across Bananas, you guessed it, a Bic Banana hanging over the top. )
