I know you want an answer, but for sure it IS NOT "perceived dilution".

Honestly, I don't know the reason, but could be one or some of the following points:
* overall market fear
* uncertainty in the housing market
* COOP's "history" as Washinton Mutual Inc. coming out of Ch.11
* not very well known by investors
* holding the price down for a certain event that will occur in the future
* market thinks a XOME spin-off will happen ==> COOP trades lower because the value of XOME will then be in separate XOME shares we will receive in ADDITION to our COOP shares
* market doesn't honor COOP's balanced business model
* ...
* ???

Why is Ocwen at only ~0.53 x price-to-book value but Rocket Companies Inc. at almost 2 x price-to-book value?!?

JWW

You really need to at least give some EXPLANATION as to WHY COOPS pps is so low compared to what all THUNK IT SHOULD BE and only 70% of book.

Book values
AAPL 4$, GOOG 15$, CAT 32$, MSFT 21$ yet all of these trade IN MULTIPLES of their book value and COOP sits at less than its BOOK VALUE(70%) of book. Oh and look where all of those trade in comparison to their book to share price

Look at most any company and you will see the same scenario BUT NOT WITH COOP , WHYYYYYYY NOT??????????????????????
