I had a long talk with Dave I today and essentially confirmed that most of my thoughts about both production and the TLD released to date is correct. The TLD released to date is what's been agreed on, it's far from all that will be included in the Journal. I expect that we'll learn that over 50 total trial survivors exceeded 7 years to permit the median for Top 100 to be there as was indicated by Dr. Ashkan previously.
It was very clear that no TLD statement has been made by the company, they are operating as they've agreed to and only the information that has been agreed could be released has been what's been in the reports from NYAS and other presentations.
DI also pointed out to me how much material shortages, things like the tubing used in the FlaskWorks units is in short supply, and has grown far more costlier.
Even back 7 or more years ago the tubing used in the I.V.'s, which is essentially the same kind of tubing, was clearly something they tried to conserve. When I was in treatment certain chemo's would produce bubbles in the tubing after time and the bubbles set off alarms in the pumps. The nurses knew that replacing the tubing would stop the alarms, but were told to make them last longer due to their cost even back then. Many an evening I was awakened numerous times with alarms because it was too early to change out the tubing and the nurses worked hard to eliminate the air bubbles by manually manipulating the tubing to eliminate the bubbles. It sounds simple, but a few days of use with certain chemo's clearly caused the tubing to break down enough to form bubbles and the pump, which is essentially the same as in the FlaskWorks unit was so sensitive it causes an alarm.
GM currently has something like 50,000 completed cars that lack the computer chip needed to sell them, such shortages are hitting all sorts of industries and no doubt NWBO is among them.
