I am now retired and wonder if we ever crossed paths in the industry? Some day maybe we will meet at Sawston or at an ASM? Validation should not be a horrible experience if properly done after sound development. If validation is extended it is typically not a good reflection on the development work. It is possible a problem with an assay turned up or any other nuanced result but this process validation should be very manageable if the device development work and process development work were well done.
