QuiX is developing “quantum” photonic processors using a silicon nitride platform called TriPleX developed by another company called LioniX.

If you go on the QuiX website, you can find details on the various components in their library. Basically the puzzle pieces you need to put together to create a photonic integrated circuit.

If you read any PIC white paper, there’s typically a cutout that shows waveguides and stacks of different materials. Silicon nitride promises to be a foundation material that offers very low losses.

We know that LWLG’s EO polymers are compatible with silicon nitride platforms.
