I heard and read how Curt Kramer was going to send Linda to jail for not handing over the company, wasn't that supposed to be a good thing....

According to a few D*BMM is such a poorly run company even if Curt had succeeded in putting Linda in jail maybe the share price would have been in a better place. Curt would be running D*BMM. Everything would be coming up roses.

For a poorly run company I am amazed at D*BMM's effort in keeping filings on time for years now. Wonder if Curt would have been that good. Probably not. Make more money naked shorting for tax free money anyway. Curt is smart is some ways. In other ways not so smart. Naked shorting is illegal.
