Pharmacydude, your post show you have the intellect to explore and to gain good knowledge which will definitely benefit you in everything you do. I salute you! You are right about "having the balls" LOL because SHORTING STOCK, especially penny stocks (SP < $5.00) is VERY RISKY. Take my case, shorting AMRN at $1.96/share, the max I can gain it's $1.96/share when SP = $0. I can LOSE HUGE amount of $$ if SP goes to $10+ (as many AMRN longs hope in a BO). But fortunately for me, that will never happen with AMRN. Why?
1) My instinct with AMRN stock after more than 2 years watching the stock TELL ME SO
2) Simple law of physics steers WS to not buy the story that AMRN will grow its REVENUE to actually making real profit after it claims it has reduced its size to less than 10% of its size two years ago.
3) NO company SP will rise several hundred percentage points in a hurry depending on 6% O/S owned by an activist tute.
4) Burning CASH like there's no tomorrow.
5) Shrinking REVENUE like there's no tomorrow
