It's been many years since headlines in the NY Times sent a company from $1 to over $100 on curing mice of cancer. The headline read something like, Give Dr. Folkman two years and he'll cure cancer. Of course it didn't pan out, the company rapidly fell back to earth, I'm unsure if it exists today.

I only mention it because there is no telling how high we
could go if we get the right headlines in media coverage. Will we come down from the highs, certainly, but how high, and how far we fall is a complete unknown. I'm generally not one to trade, but if I sense a major emotional high the least I'll do is put in some stop loss orders, especially in the Roth IRA's where I'll have no tax consequences.

My goal is to have my kids covered by my gains, and establish a new tax basis when both their parents are no longer here. Unless we hit the century mark, that will be in the next 20 years. Clearly if I sell out of my primary account I'll pay taxes on the gain, but if I'm right I'll buy far more shares and still have the funds to pay the taxes, so I'll do it. If wrong I'll have a pile of money to invest, but perhaps in something different.

Who knows, we may get little or no media coverage, maybe we creep up to double digits over a couple years, but if we do get major media coverage that's highly positive, no telling how high we might fly.
