We know the "vaccine" failed the initial primary endpoint PFS, and that the FDA halted enrollment seven years ago. Seven years!!! Just stuns me.
What likely happened next is Powers argued the pseudo angle and the FDA then said something like...Do what you want it's your money...Research for researches sake is always good with us, but we can no longer recognize the trial. So, Powers uses the years well to build private wealth by building CDMO's. Shareholders mostly left in the dark. Nobody ever to mention the enrollment halt as it would open up a real can of worms.
Meanwhile as the years roll on, a whole new regime at the FDA settles in. But the Trump win and the pandemic throws a monkey wrench into things. Political maneuvering by our beltway execs continues on until things change. Grants in the right places. Time to call in some chips with the EU given a few
May be living longer. Powers turns the vaccine into a said "Cause" while convincing some wealthy old folks to participate, always with warrants used as a "safety net". The SEC appears to "understand" the game just giving Powers a few slaps along the way but no more. Squeeze out every last drop in authorized as chances of commercialization are slim. Institutions and analyst know the biotech game all too well. Retail has the usual target on their back.
Fast forward to 2020. Maybe a friendly Delaware administration returns with a "Cancer Moonshot" program. Time to change endpoints and call an "end" to the trail. But here now in 2022, during a two year quiet period, and so far it appears the FDA still hasn't budged. They couldn't seal the deal with a reputable journal. BP continues to avoid. Biden's Moonshot is a mess and far down the list of priorities with things so bad. And besides, there's no doubt the Biden's did extremely thorough research on DCVAX when Bo received his GBM diagnosis in 2014. Who knows maybe he even quietly received treatment?? So, that's probably working against things too.
In short this is all political now and it looks
like most know it.
