Most do not significantly extend survival, but get accelerated approval based upon a proxy for OS that it turns out is often not an effective proxy, and survival is not in fact a beneficial result. See some of the Keytruda and Opdivo approvals.

It is unlikely that OS is significantly extended by placebo effect.

I don’t think the risk is what some suggest in terms of approval, though questions may seem, at times to suggest dramatic potential for fear. I seriously doubt the end result will be non-approval ultimately. But that’s just my opinion.
