K’s global-snacks spinoff is loosely similar to the MDLZ spinoff from the original Kraft ten years ago (#msg-80059075). I made some money owning MDLZ, although I don’t hold it now.

K’s separate plant-food spinoff, consisting of Morningstar Farms, is being treated as a throwaway, which corroborates your bearish viewpoint on this industry segment.
