Just from reading the boards, it seems many have and have not had any response.

Just strange to announce such a seemingly big event in the company’s evolution, mention that more details are coming and then radio silence.

Missling set expectations in a PR. Can he just ignore what he himself said and pretend like it’s no big deal?
