wwhatthe nice post with all links.Everything is correct except the "Termination".The Termination you referred in the A&M agreement was to earlier Termination of their agreement with parties there to,that was not referred to WMI Liquidating Trust termination.WMI LT was administered for 2 years since Jan 2020 and cancelled effective Dec 31,2021(Dissolved).From Jan 2022 the estates have been winding-up(wind-up),any remaining assets need to be liquidated(Liquidation- Liquidating Trust purpose is to liquidate assets/pass-thru) and distribute to owners.
"Nothing more needs to be done and, upon closure of the Debtors’ chapter 11 cases, WMILT does not anticipate the need for the Bankruptcy Court’s involvement or assistance nor the need to incur the costs and expenses associated with the ongoing judicial administration of these chapter 11 cases. Likewise, upon the final distribution being made, the dissolution of the Trust is appropriate. Such action would alleviate the ongoing incurrence of fees and expenses and, in connection with the final distribution, permit the maximum distribution to be available.

A&M's part was to process claims and distribute around $900 million to former creditors of WMI and its subs.A&M is gone.
I contact administrators couple of times and got responses by email.They say Trust has no operations or activities.
WMI LT can't be terminated.It was to be dissolved,winded up,liquidate and distribute to owners.
