My "guiding light" has me scraping my plate into a compost bucket under the sink...we no longer have plastic bags in the trash cans and one gets plastic the other only clean paper trash...trash can that used to be for yard waste now gets the compost bags...the red one that used to get all the garbage now get the trash with the plastic, the grey one gets the clean paper...I had to ask where which trash went in what can for the first month!
