Thx for the feedback. IMO, AVXL has taken a different (and correct) path from FDA . It appears that at some point a problem solving path which (must have said something like...we (leadership) believe that Amyloid Plaque is the explanation-cause for AD...PROVE IT and bring me(top management) the statistical evidence to support that claim.

So, they spent the last (n=30) years working to prove by means of statistical reasoning/methods to demonstrate that. (NOT: IMO, when this direction was given it meant they had concluded the ROOT CAUSE of AD IS AMYLOID...and everything they printed/said said that). That is why we still do not have an AD clinical solution. Recently we have seen again that the actual clinical process facts do not support the claim, but (no worries) keep trying.

We can all fill in the blanks as to what happened next, until AVXL and Dr.M. came along.
So, finally, the BIIB disaster blew up and some-science people FINALLY said, this BS has to stop. That is my short version of FDA CNS-AD history on how science an politics should never be mixed. We have another more recent CV-19 story proving exactly this same point.

So, it ain't over till it's over , but we can see evidence of change starting to show. The patent app. recently filled by Dr.M and co illustrates a properly done process outline on how to structure BIO-Med work of-for discovery and learning-problem solving , which will eventually produce fact based claims, which can/will then be properly demonstrated through provision of objective evidence, as required by regulations. Statistical tools will (have) likely also been applied along w/AI methods as proof.

A famous Samurai warrior, Miyamoto Musashi has famously written..."The Pen and the Sword, In accord". IMO, that is the process path which AVXL have chosen. AKA, let the facts speak.
