Stunning.

Tanya’s body was far looser, she tends to get quite tight. She seemed to be far more aware of things. Where she was looking around, far more interested in the things around her. Her legs, for example were operating far better on her own. She needs two care givers to walk her but her legs were operating far better on her own. You didn’t have to pull her along, she was quite willing to do it herself, but, holding on to the two carers.

Wow! Thanks for posting this, for this women, 41, who has been disabled by Rett syndrome all her life, who with blarcamesine treatment exhibited these improved behaviors.

Will blarcamesine get approved for Rett? Could any of the above be definitive of blarcamesine’s efficacy for the disease in older victims, such as Tanya, here? Anyone want to tell us that we can’t really know; that any or all of this can be merely a placebo effect?

Imagine, then, how Tanya might have fared had she been able to take blarcamesine from the day she was first diagnosed, at birth or right thereafter. Could the drug have been able to prevent or suppress the neuromuscular debilities that so much afflict her?

Once again, it must be understood that most drugs working strongly in the central nervous system have a multitude of untoward side effects; often as bad or worse than the symptoms being addressed by the drug. This has never been the case with blarcamesine, either in numerous murine (lab rodent) trials, nor in any of the existing human trials.

Safety and efficacy. For Rett, blarcamesine continues to succeed.
