Good guess. I'm 70 a Democrat with liberal tendencies that is also a realist. This country is basically which swing to the left or right depending how the wind blows.

People on the far left and far right are simply delusional. Biden won because this country got tired of Trump's tweets and his big lie did him in.

Yeah i agree my friends are in that group but you old fashioned free thinking liberals have ideologically nothing in common with a much younger crowd that is statist in outlook

I see no hope until people realize that they will have to agree to disagree and that dialogue is the only way out, and on that score I have to say that even the maga people are much more willing to listen than those on the left who seek to silence free speech, shout people down or use idiotic terms like hate speech, microagression, safe places to not engage with (horror of horrors) people who disagree with them
