In the video, RC states that "a lot of companies" are using MARKET to replace their individual web sites.

By his own admission, the MARKET platform is in beta. Who are these companies that have already abandoned their existing web sites to put everything on MARKET? Answer: It hasn't happened other than in Rory's head.

If you go to MARKET.live now, there is no way to see what sellers are on the platform. No matter, we will just kill our web site and eventually there will be a directory of MARKET sellers. How many times has that happened. Answer: zero times.

If I was a retailer, I would be looking to use MARKET for incremental sales. Say a customer is browsing on MARKET looking for, I dunno, Pickleball paddles, and they stumble upon my storefront and I make a sale, then terrific. There is a sale that I might not have made otherwise. But if I have loyal clientele coming to my Pickleball site, why would I encourage my customers to visit MARKET where they might be enticed to see the items from another Pickleball seller? If anything, I would give customers an incentive (special discount code) that will ONLY work on my web site and NOT on the MARKET site, saving me the commission that VERB charges.

I am convinced that Rory is truly delusional.
