Wow--obscene amount of dough...Chelsea FC in the English Premier League was just sold----it was owned by Roman Abramovitch, a Russian oligarch who the Football Association, which governs English football, kicked out when he was sanctioned due to Ukraine--he won't even receive any proceeds from the sale

sale price was ~4.25B pounds, which is ~5.3B bucks---to Todd Boehly, one of the principle owners of the Dodgers...

lot of American sports owners now own English football clubs
Glaziers own Man U
John Henry of the Red Sox owns Liverpool
Stan Groenke owns Arsenal
to name a few of the biggies...
