Blessings to all today. I was blessed yesterday when the lab results of my bladder cancer came back negative. Praise the Lord. The doctor who did the first biopsy recommended chemo and then removal of the bladder and then a substitute. I was given the name of a bladder specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering and he took on my case, did a biopsy and "scrapping". He then gave me 6 bladder treatments using TICE BCG, an active bacteria I was to hold in the bladder for 2 hours. Praise the Lord, it must have worked. The cystoscope showed only inflammation and scar tissue and the lab work negative. The only down side, (which is not so terrible) is no alcohol because it irritates the bladder lining and might weaken it. So, yesterdays news for me was fantastic and now I am praying for fantastic news about DCVAX L. "Staying tuned". Thank you all for your DD and sharing on this most important blog.
