I believe that Dr. Stupp's is highly regarded and knowledgeable. He may take the attitude that he believes the helmet ought to be used in addition to DCVax-L, but I believe he'll admit that DCVax-L is achieving greater results than the helmet. I don't doubt that some patients will choose to use both unless there is evidence it doesn't work.

I once met a pancreatic cancer patient who couldn't have a Whipple procedure. He had survived for over 5 years by trying anything his doctors suggested. When his doctors had nothing more to suggest, he found other doctors that did. That was many years ago and he was elderly then, but I suspect he probably lived at least a few more years.

I'm not saying I expect Dr. Stupp's to be out promoting DCVax-L, but I expect that he'll be honest about it being superior to his protocol which has been a standard for many years.
