Quick bucks? Or long term investment?

my point is that even with the setup as it is I don't see how share price can sustain higher if there is no imminent approval.

Understood. Two differing, contrasting viewpoints on taking or holding an AVXL position.

One is that the share price should or needs to continually advance. If it doesn't, as in the case of the last year, where the price has declined from an intraday high of $31.50 last June, a holding of AVXL shares has been a failure.

The other viewpoint is that getting drugs like blarcamesine approved and on the market takes years, literally. The intervening share price wanderings are accepted and understood. They allow diligent investors to increase their holdings by buying shares during low-price intervals.

Quick-buck investing? Or, long-term investing? Two entirely different approaches; mutually exclusive. For quick-buckers, AVXL is not a play. It will be, however, right after the FDA approves it.
