Software for Backtesting
Is there any way to backtest AIM without having to put everything in manually? This would include not only the stocks, but changing the parameters for buy/hold, starting percent in cash/stocks, and anything else.
I see a couple of programs in the cloud or will be shortly, but I want something I can have on my computer without having to have my financial info out there.
Is there a way to do this with a spreadsheet, to download historical info into it and see different results as you change the parameters? I'm not too techy, so I don't know how to write it if there is.
