May 18th, 1980. Mt. St. Helen's blew herself apart in the 'quiet' Northwest.

Many knew it was coming; scientist and stakeholders gathering to get a view...no one knew the actual moment she would release, but when she went... it was Massive, like, literally, nothing anyone alive has witnessed.

I don't know if Northwest was operating in Bothell, Washington yet, but I waxed poetic last year, hoping the May 18th, 2021 ASM would match the event.... sadly, it did not.

This May 18th, however, if the endpoints can match the progressive and correct EU, perhaps, just perhaps, I can stop reading this damn board and sit on a beach.

So many analogies and 'parallels' on these videos, I can't event list them.
