It is fully CAD designed and engineered not only as a supercar but as one that can be altered for many wheelbases. They could make them from steel as well I suppose with the data but to get a proper chassis designer and engineer to build it such that it can be duplicated part by part by a CNC machine or supplied as laser cut parts from the supplier is in fact a lot of critical and expensive work.
