It's literally some aluminum beams stuck together. No wheels, no suspension, no motors, no batteries, no nothing.

That's not very incredible when you stop to think about it.

There is no reason given for their special treatment regarding the safety exemption - are these cars even intended to be sold to the public? in what quantities?

There's a lot of hype.
