Now back below 4,000 and then above 4,000..:). It appears I'm not the only one surprised by the core inflation report. Here's where inflation hit hardest this month:
Airline fares: 18.6% or 223% on a yearly basis.
Dairy products: 2.5% or 30% - yearly.
Fresh whole chicken: 4% or 48% - yearly.
Eggs: 10.3% or 124% - yearly.
Instant coffee: 3.7% or 44% - yearly.
Baby food: 3% or 36% - yearly.
Window coverings 4.7% or 56% - yearly.
Men's suits: 6.6% or 79% - yearly.
Newspapers: 2.7% or 32% - yearly.
Sewing, fabric, supplies: 4.6% or 55% - yearly.
