I'm not a horse guy so wondering if you or someone can shed light on this. It appeared to me during the entire time Rich Strike was biting the lead pony after winning, the jockey did next to nothing to help stop it, even though the lead pony rider was fighting very hard to stop it. Why did the jockey do nothing? Couldn't he have pulled Rich Stike's head harder to the right with his reins to prevent most of those bites? It seemed weird to a non-horse person
