It wasn’t until about 12 years ago when I began reading about nivolumab (Opdivo) and ipilimumab (Yervoy) both of these were still in clinical trials at the time. I was searching for help for my brother who was 50 years old with RCC (chemo/radiation do not help with RCC). While these were not options for him, it became apparent to me that the seemingly impossible cancer cure may actually be found in immunotherapy. Fast forward to today. DCVAX is the catalyst to make the impossible a reality!!! These combo trials will hopefully bring us closer to a cure. Maybe even in my lifetime!!!
