Apparently public reimbursement for Vascepa in Canada has two stages.

First stage... "The completion of pCPA’s assessment regarding reimbursement represents an important milestone towards advancing the potential reach of therapies across Canada"....I assume this means that there is now agreement on the price of Vascepa....This removes the main obstacle to commercizalation of Vascepa in Canada.
Second stage....HLS now has announced(by a letter of intent) that they intend to reach out reach out to provincial regulatory bodies to add Vascepa to their formularies....This should happen in short order.
