I just want to be clear (and I'm sure everyone here realizes this) that if they can't operate, it's hard to see how they can make DCVax-L for his poor wife.

Six months ago, a London father had to fight for his life after being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.(Glioblastoma Recurrence and not suitable for operation)
The family was desperately fundraising for a promising cancer vaccine called DCVAX-L- costs about £30,000 per dose - and the man would need six of them.
Here is a quote from the correspondence I had with his daughter:

Unfortunately it's not a standard practice to freeze tumour after resection in UK. They put it in formaldehyde unless you request it to be frozen. Because we didn't know about this treatment at the time of first surgery that tissue is now useless. He doesn't qualify for a second surgery at the moment because of position of the tumour but Professor Ashkan said biopsy sample should be enough.
