I just got bad news from Vanguard today. Beginning April 28, they are no longer allowing purchases of OTC stocks. I can hold as long as I want and sell, but not buy. They had one exception for foreign stocks, but NWBO doesn’t make that cut. I talked to a representative to make sure. I’m done buying, but had hoped to do some trading if the stock shot upwards at TLD, then plummeted back to a reasonable level. Vanguard has been a good platform to use, with no fees. I have some stock with TD Ameritrade, so I’ll switch over if I decide to trade, but they have hefty fees for OTC stocks, at least the last time I checked. Unfortunately it takes a few weeks, maybe 6, to move stock from one company to another and many of us expect we’ll get TLD and more in the next few weeks. Oh well. Bad timing. Just letting everyone know in case you use Vanguard. The letter’s probably in the mail.
