I guess you could look at the companies last 10K and review "stock holder equity", what is left after Liabilities have been paid. I think that is something key that people don't review or consider. That number alone in relation to the TD suggestions is a pretty clear disparity.

As far as the conspiracy theory and the wiping of data and forces, the internet does not work like that and conspiracies are very hard to maintain when so many copies of information are made immediately and held on physical media that others do not have access to.

As NDT points out, the FDIC clearly did not cooperate fully and based on the liquidity listed in Kerry and Linda Killinger's book...the bank was well capitalized from a ratio stand point.

The problem was the government was in a panic and as was stated in another poignant post... They shot a hostage to push through TARP

At this point it is not whether winners and losers were picked, also its not whether the process was flawed and imperfect. It is whether any additional payment will be made. 5AT, Breaches of NDA, Skullduggery... no doubt. Either way, live life to fullest and remember what is most important to you...
