I understand where you are coming from but the fact that they could have ramped up with clean rooms but didn’t was limited by lack of reimbursement which has been a problem since 2015 right? I mean if reimbursement wasn’t an issue then the ramp for Specials in Sawston could have taken off like you said and created some significant embarrassment for FDA while NWBO had to “wait for data to mature” otherwise known as getting FDA guidance up to speed and getting out of the way. Corning would probably have kept the rights if there had been reimbursement as that might have pushed the governments of FDA and perhaps the PEI farther and faster with their changes as things like Right to Try and Hospital Exemption turned out to be window dressing for the status quo which FDA was either supporting or trying to work around on behalf of “the science” of treatments like DCVax.
Bottom line is that NWBO had to force everyone’s hand and the only way to do that was with their data and with manufacturing. The data has looked good for a long while already. Just ask Bohsie, Leprecon777 or NWBO who mentioned Bohsie’s PFS analysis pre adjudication and another for their OS analysis. The fact that the manufacturing fell into NWBO’s hands so to speak does seem interesting considering the fact that those trying to hold NWBO back had nothing to lose and much to gain by buying it out from under NWBO. You strike where the competition is weak if you want to stop them. In other words I don’t think Flaskworks was shopped around when it became available. Providential that it came? Maybe. Coincidence that it landed with NWBO? I think not ; ). Some smart and opportunistic folks working this gig against Goliath together and I like the way they think. By the way, didn’t Dr. Linda Liau focus her MBA thesis on reimbursement? I think cost is a big issue that needed work on. Manufacturing, manufacturing, manufacturing ; ). Best wishes.
