Have you read the defendant’s response? I had similar concern when I read the plaintiffs claim. But, what hit me post defendant’s response and the judge requesting plaintiff to ballpark damages… The plaintiffs are actually motivated for ibat to be successful. Biggest $ are centered on ibat stock. Also Ibat doesn’t dispute that they owe or will owe stock once certain milestones are met, however they hadn’t been met yet. I suspect patent app 16171107 which has both plaintiffs names on it as coinventors with Burba, which has now received notice of allowance, is somehow tied into all of this.

Also, plaintiffs attorney seems pretty focused on settling when you look at her bio. Her case studies seem to emphasize avoiding court at all costs.
