Finally spoke with source. Very short conversation as he was going into a meeting. I asked about the recent CVX comments regarding OBO-1. My source used the term "highly unprofessionl" about 3-4 times. His point was it is common knowledge in the industry that you have to drill more than one well to know what is there. He said JDA is taking the matter up with CVX at present. He pointed out how ironic it is that as soon as CVX was done drilling OBO-1 they "expressed great interest also in Block 2." I was suprised he used the "highly professional" term. Not like him to do so. Those of you who have spoken with him I am sure will agree. Point is he obviously feels very strong that CVX is playing games and wants bigger piece of pie.

I was told drilling should still happen in 2007. Source would not give me specifics as there were things being finalized among consortiums. He would not be specific. Not sure what he meant by this. All he would say was that Operators are going to great lenghts to drill asap in JDZ.
