Do you remember if there were ever any pictures of the Mexican guys on the SRGE BOD? I wonder if any of them would look like the guys at the helm of AABB?
I don't remember, but I don't think so; they weren't interested in being interviewed. And it was all complicated by the fact that they were in Jalisco, which really was a dangerous place. But remember: the Dallas Morning News wrote a big story about it after Davies and Johnston "drowned in the Rio Rosa", conveniently leaving a briefcase--I think only one--on the shore. It was full of stuff identifying them as SRGE executives. The local reporters had just shrugged and accepted the murder story as true, so they were surprised when a film crew from ABC turned up to investigate.
The ABC people--AND a Spanish-speaking reporter from the Dallas News--asked a lot of questions, and went to every address on record for anyone associated with the company. The results were mostly dead ends, though it was all embarrassing for the company, such as it was.
For awhile after that, "investors" hoped for good news, but none was forthcoming, and the company faded away. But of course there're still investors, and they continue to post.
